We highly recommend pre-anesthetic bloodwork and require it for pets 7+ years of age before any sedated procedure to help recognize any underlying abnormalities your pet may have. This profile will check blood glucose, kidney/liver enzymes, and a CBC. These blood tests help us to assess the health status of your pet to ensure they are a safe candidate for anesthesia.
